Through December 21, the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service is seeking nominations for the 2016 Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame.
Any Iowa individual, national service member, family, group, organization, nonprofit, business or corporation actively engaged in volunteer service may be nominated. Since inaugural awards were presented in 1989, 161 names have been added to plaques on permanent display in the State Historical Museum.
