Iowa high school students planning to enter college next fall with a major in the arts may apply for the 2016 Iowa Scholarship for the Arts by February 1.
The Iowa Arts Council awards these scholarship annually to Iowa high school students with a proven artistic ability in dance, literature, music, theater, traditional arts or visual arts, who plan to attend an Iowa college or university to pursue a major in the arts. This year’s recipients will receive $1,500 toward 2016-17 academic year expenses as a full-time undergraduate.
